“Fake Tales of San Francisco” by the Arctic Monkeys still gets me drumming on my steering wheel.

It popped onto the radio the other day, and I thought, “What happened to these guys?”

I did some research and saw they’ve left some cryptic social media posts, leaving fans to imply that they’re releasing a new album in 2026 (their last new album was The Car in 2022.)

And then I thought, what are some other bands from back in the day that are still exciting? Like 90s and 2000s bands that I’d be excited to hear new music from?
