John, Paul, George, and Ringo aside, there are very few bands where every member’s name is widely known.
Most of the time, the lead singer is the band as far as the general public is concerned.
So when that guy leaves… or dies… or gets kicked out, the assumption is that it’s over.
Sometimes it is, and sometimes it might as well be.
But every once in a while, a band finds someone new, takes a swing, and somehow manages to pulls it off.
