Photographer Captures ‘Home Alone’ Film Locations over 3 Decades Later

It’s hard to believe that Home Alone was released 35 years ago this week. Time flies when you’re a millennial. But we wanted to celebrate by taking a look back at some familiar locations from the iconic one/two punch of Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.
Thanks to photographer Andrea David AKA filmtourismus, we get a glimpse at what the movie’s setting looks like more than 3 decades later.
And shoutout to the King of Christmas, Chris Columbus. Not only did he direct both Home Alone films, but he had a hand in Jingle All the Way, Gremlins, and The Christmas Chronicles just to name a few.
