Before SNL, before the Digital Shorts, before Justin Timberlake…there was just Andy, Jorma, and Akiva. They were three friends with a passion for comedy. Having gone to school together, they decided to make the move to Los Angeles.
Then on one fateful day in 2001, The Lonely Island was formed.
Thanks to a successful writing gig at the 2005 MTV Movie awards and a good word from the show’s host, Jimmy Fallon, The Lonely Island was brought onto Saturday Night Live. The rest is history.
