Sunday night’s alright for fighting. That’s what Elton John really meant, right? Well that’s exactly what happened when the Tampa Bay Lightning took on the Boston Bruins in the 2026 NHL Stadium Series.
The outdoor hockey game took place at Raymond James Stadium, typically home to the NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Not only were fans treated to some old school pond puck, but the holy grail of hockey occurrences – a goalie fight – broke out as well. For as rare as goalie fights have been, this is now the 2nd in 2 weeks.
