When I first graduated from Theatre school, the running joke was that you hadn’t made it as a professional actor until you got cast in an episode of Law & Order (SVU or otherwise.)
Clearly there’s some truth to that, as dozens of successful actors and actresses have gotten their start on the long-running crime series.
Honestly there are too many to count, but we’ve compiled some of the heavy-hitters who – before making it big – had their moment on Law & Order. Enjoy this trip down memory lane.
