I know this news broke last night, but I have to level with all of you for a moment:

When I was in 6th grade, my science teacher, probably looking for a respite from having to deal with middle school kids, showed us an episode of a show called Mythbusters. I’d heard of it, but I’d never really sought it out before that day. After that day, I hijacked the family DVR to record/watch as much of it as I could for literal years. I come from a family of engineers, and to see science be so entertaining was really important to me.

And Grant Imahara was a huge part of that.
