Look, when I was growing up, you heard all sorts of stories about how kids were getting named Hermione because of Harry Potter, Bella because of Twilight, and so on.
So it only feels inevitable that Game of Thrones would eventually fall to the same fate, except that most names on Game of Thrones are not exactly everyday names. Say what you will about naming your kid Harry after Harry Potter, but Harry is a recognizable name.
