I find it lazy when female comedians try to be a dirty comic. Like being crude for the sake of it, without putting enough effort into the craft of the joke.

Sarah Silverman, though, is different.

She’s built out her own unique style that combines deadpan humor with a childlike delivery, sprinkled with plenty of vulgarity, social commentary, and the willingness to explore taboo topics.

I like her mindset here, “I think you can make fun of anything as long as it’s funny enough.” I agree. The stand-up stage should be a canvas where anything goes, as long as the intent is to make people laugh.
