Who is Jon Lajoie?

Jon Lajoie is what happens when the internet discovers a guy who looks like he works IT at your office but secretly has the confidence to drop absolute comedic bangers– and acid.

He blew up in the early YouTube days–back when going viral meant your video was played on the Local Channel 5 and looked like it was filmed on a toaster. Lajoie immediately carved out a lane as the king of deadpan absurdity. His whole thing? Delivering ridiculous lyrics with the energy of a man reading off a grocery list. No wink, no nudge… just pure commitment.

Man could slang some bangers too. I remember ripping a handful of his tracks on putting them on iPod Nano from back in the day…

Tracks like Everyday Normal Guy turned being aggressively average into a personality trait, while songs like Show Me Your Genitals walked right up to the line of “should this exist?” and then sprinted past it. Somehow, it all works. Would not fly nowadays, that’s for sure!

But off the internet, he popped up in shows like The League, proving he wasn’t just a one-hit viral wonder; he proved he had real comedic chops. But at his core, Lajoie is still the patron saint of normal dudes everywhere.

Currently, he’s a musician under the moniker, Wolfie’s Just Fine.
