Cartoons are supposed to be where anything goes: explosions, ridiculous fights, monsters, mayhem and characters surviving things that would put a real person in the hospital.
Yet over the years, networks have found plenty of things worth censoring, from changing firearms and removing smoking to covering up body parts and switching up narratives.
The results are often stranger than the original scenes. Here are some of the ways cartoons have been cleaned up for television, you tell me if they all make sense or not.
