There are people who think about a comeback three hours later in the shower. Then there are people who apparently have a fully operational verbal flamethrower installed directly behind their keyboard.
These are the text replies that came out of nowhere and somehow landed perfectly. Some were responses to insults. Some came in the form of romantic rejections. Others were replies to completely ordinary messages that absolutely did not deserve the level of violence they received. And a few are just people recognizing an opportunity for a sick burn and refusing to waste it.
No long argument. No paragraph long rant. Just one perfectly timed message that made the conversation infinitely funnier — and probably made someone stare at their phone in silence.
