I remember one of the first posts I ever did at TheCHIVE in 2016 where I said some place was a ‘Baron Wasteland’ instead of a ‘Barren wasteland.’ Fookin’ embarrassing that was.
Oh, and there was this one girl at school who notoriously used the wrong words when posting her morning ‘Facebook Status.’
Two that sick out were: “Up and Adam.” and “Set and stone.”
Anyway, here are a handful of times where people dropped the ball when it came to, you know, English.
