The sad truth is that you can’t technically be on vacation without having something to be on vacation from; ie. W O R K.
So while the plan might be to sip pina coladas by the pool or Budweisers by the beach, there’s always that creeping itch at the back of your mind about just how many goddamn emails are piling up in your absence.
Or, better yet, you’re trying to take a “work vacation” in which you’re “working remotely” while at some tropical destination.
That’s not exactly my idea of a good time (or a worthwhile flight) but you gotta do what you gotta do to get some sunshine somehow, right?
