Scottie Scheffler has all charges dropped after ‘big misunderstanding’ during arrest

Scottie is free! According to the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office in Louisville, they won’t be moving forward with the case regarding Scheffler’s traffic incident at the PGA Championship. The charges were dismissed without prejudice.
Scheffler’s attorney, Steve Romines was rightfully upset. He went as far as to say that police “tried to get him to confess to something he didn’t do. That’s why you don’t talk to police.”
Romines and Scheffler will not be pursing a civil lawsuit against LMPD at this time.
