Why Are Musicians Obsessed with Car Accidents in Music Videos?

I’ve been curious about this phenomenon for quite some time now. This might sound like a shower thought, or that I’m high as fuck. I promise you, I’ve spent a ridiculous amount of time racking brain about this completely sober.
For as long as I can remember, the car accident theme has had a stranglehold on the industry, specifically when it comes to music videos. Even more disturbing is when a song seemingly has NOTHING to do with a car accident. So like me, you’re probably wondering, “Okay, but how many videos actually involve car crashes?” Valid question.
And you’d think an event as traumatizing as a car wreck would only work for a handful of songs. Joke’s on you. Based on my limited music fandom, I already found 20 different music videos. That’s WAY too many. The proof is in the pudding, so open up and enjoy this serving of chaotic and tragic content.
