It wasn’t Pac-Man, or Tetris, or even Pong, though that latter wasn’t so far off.
The first very first video game ever created (for entertainment purposes, which is an important caveat we’ll get to in a minute) was called Tennis For Two, also known as Computer Tennis.
The game, played on an oscilloscope with the use of two custom aluminum controllers, was a simulation of tennis created in 1958 and is widely considered the first video game ever made.
Wild to think how far video game graphics have come in the >70 years since!
