There’s a framed photo on my desk, it’s been there for 2 years. It means a lot to me because it represents how a group of some of the biggest dreamers in America hatched a impossible plan that becomes a reality tomorrow. The photo was taken in the spring of 2015, right before the Masters.
Pat Perez hadn’t played in the Masters since 2009 and he wanted to punch his ticket back to golf’s biggest major. That would require Pat winning another PGA event of course, something he was more than capable of doing. But many in the game had written Pat off. Closing in on 40 and mislabeled ‘Golf’s bad boy’, it wasn’t going to be easy.
