Precious girl confined to her home is given her independence (18 Photos)
I remember pulling into Audrina’s neighborhood in Rochester, NY. Brian Mercedes and I were driving Audrina’s new ADA-accessible Dodge Caravan to the Peterson family home to surprise them with the vehicle.
Before I saw their home, there was concern. Out the front windshield there you can see a concrete batching plant. The various raw materials used to form concrete were piled high. Sand, rocks, and gravel were peeking over the fence. When the raw aggregates are combined and belt-fed together, it sends a plume of particulates into the air. In the summer, when the wind turns south, the debris would fly into the Petersons’ home, depositing a fine dust layer on the front porch.
This was the least of their problems.
