Sure they’re scary looking, they spray sulfur out of their buttholes, and they smell even worse laying dead on the side of the road. But skunks do offer benefits to our planet. They are known to prey on small rodents, snakes, and insects which is great for farmers and gardeners. Skunks also seek out carcasses, and keep our environment carrion-free.
