Let me preface this story by saying that I think dogs are truly God’s gift to man. And nothing is more powerful to me than the connection between a dog and its owner. With that being said, The Animal Rescue Site is a resource that enables pet owners to share their heartwarming rescue stories, and one such story, told by Kris from Prestonsburg, Kentucky, had me moved beyond words. Kris had some deeply emotional things to say about his recently passed pup named Jessie.
