You’ve seen it before. You’re walking down the street and you see a stranger with their dog and they look alike.
There’s no other explanation for it. They just look alike.
Scientists have actually looked into it.
The leading theory: people subconsciously choose dogs that resemble themselves. Same facial structure, similar energy, matching vibes.
There’s also a second theory: over years of living together, dogs and owners start to mirror each other’s expressions, posture, and even resting face. You make a face enough times, apparently, and the dog starts making it back.
And then there’s the third theory, which is that none of this explains anything, not everything needs a reason, and sometimes it’ just fun to look at pictures of dogs.
