Dion Cole was on his way to work like any other day when he witnessed a dog thrown out of a truck and left for dead on the side of the road by its former owner. The dog scurried off and Dion was left with the horrific image of a dog lost and alone in the middle of nowhere. After rehashing the crime against the dog all day in his mind, Dion told his wife what he’d seen. Together, the two decided to go back and look for the abandoned canine.
However, it wasn’t easy coaxing the dog to come with them. The pooch, predictably shaken, ran away every time the couple got nearby. After a few days the couple were able to corral the pooch (thanks to the help of some tempting treats) which they then took back to their home. Angry and emotional, Cole’s wife, wrote a message addressed to the man in the truck and posted it on Facebook, where it has since gone viral. The message read…
