Leo the golden retriever rescued after 300-foot fall off cliff

An Oregon golden retriever named Leo had quite the scare on New Year’s Day. Owners, Alexa and Cody had taken Leo to Cannon Beach for a walk with some of their family members. In what seemed like the blink of an eye, Leo – who was unleashed at the time – took off running in front of the group and suddenly disappeared.
Frantic, Alexa peered over a cliff which led to the beach about 300 feet below. Sure enough, there was Leo. The owners dialed 911 and the rescue was on.
