Real-life Lassie causes low-speed dog-chase, saves owners in accident
Drivers called the police about a loose Shiloh Shepard running around on a bridge in New Hampshire near the Vermont border. They did not know her owner was ejected from a nearby vehicle.
Captain Tim Cohen of the Lebanon police department responded to the call. Tinsley, the loose-Shepard causing a highway distraction, was a hazard to vehicles and at risk of hurting herself, he said.
The dog engaged in what was described as a “low-speed dog-chase” for five to ten minutes, reported Erum Salum of the Guardian.
“[Tinsley] wouldn’t really get near anybody,” Cohen said.
