Maybe you’re a purist and you love the look and feel of the videocassette, or maybe you hold onto a certain tape because it’s never made the transfer to a digital format. I fall in to the latter category. I’ve got a decent collection of films, but the centre of it all is the originally released, theatrical version of the Star Wars trilogy. If you’re a fan, you know why I won’t give these up. So when I saw that there’s a guy who’s got a stockpile of functional VCRs that he’s pimping out, movie-style, I got excited. Going by the online names of Sorce CodeVhs and Sorce122 on his Facebook and Instagram respectively, this anonymous artist transforms retro video cassette players into large-scale VHS Box art. These hit me in the childhood nostalgic feels and I want one. Like this post? 0 Liked! 0 Disliked 0
