If you were like me as an early adolescent, you were probably fueling your own nightmares through books like Goosebumps, Fear Street, and of course Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. The third of which had some truly horrifying visuals courtesy of illustrator, Stephen Gammell.
Gammell’s work only amplified the suspenseful storytelling of author, Alvin Schwartz. We’ve collected the most disturbing images from the classic horror series.
