Today, I wanted to take a hot minute to explain, in Chive terms, an alarming new weapon that has been deployed in social media. I’ll preface this by saying we’re not pulling any of this bullshit at theCHIVE, nor will we ever.
There’s a next-gen piece of weaponry that’s been broadly applied to every algorithm from Instagram to TikTok over the past few months. Its core objective is to use AI to create a dopamine drip that makes you angrier, addicts you to their website, and generally turns your brain into mud.
It’s called SNARF.
