There’s something almost mythic about a good whiskey. Maybe it’s the centuries of tradition behind it. Maybe it’s the alchemy of grain, water, wood, and time somehow turning into liquid gold. Or maybe it’s just the way a glass of the stuff can silence the noise of the world for a moment.
Tonight’s “DER” takes a warm, slow sip of the good stuff. We’re diving into what makes Scotch, bourbon, Japanese whisky, and Irish whiskey all uniquely delicious.
We’ll also look at the rules, the regions, the quirks, that make whiskey more than just a drink.
