Run, Robot, Run! RoboRunners Complete Half-Marathon in Beijing!

This weekend, in a spectacle that could only be described as Blade Runner meets Chariots of Fire, Beijing hosted the world’s first half-marathon… and the runners were ROBOTS.

The event, featuring humanoid robots racing alongside human runners, saw 21 bipedal bots navigating a 13.1-mile course, each accompanied by a team of human handlers.

While some robots hit the ground running, most just hit the ground.
