Today we wanted to highlight one of the most unique and heartwarming nonprofit organizations around. A Doll Like Me is helping children by emphasizing the idea that “our unique differences make us beautiful.”
Children already see themselves in the toys that they play with, and A Doll Like Me takes that notion one step further. They’re creating custom-made dolls for children with disabilities and rare health conditions to reinforce the idea that dolls should look like the kids who adore them.
