Hear me out: Did Disney name ‘Frozen’ to bury “Walt Disney frozen” searches? (Conspiracy Theories)
I like conspiracy theories.
That’s not to say that I would consider myself a conspiracy theorist, per say — but I like to dive down the occasional Wikipedia rabbit hole.
Like sure, I have a tinfoil hat but it’s in the closet, sorta thing.
So, I’m going to approach things as pragmatically as possible. That is, I’ll present the “facts” (or seemingly the facts) and then let you all decide if it makes sense or not.
Here goes:
The internet has a chilly theory that goes like this: Disney titled its 2013 mega-hit Frozen so that anyone Googling “Disney frozen” would find Elsa and Anna—not rumors about Walt Disney being cryogenically preserved.
It’s neat. It’s tidy. It’s also unproven (and strongly disputed).
