Illegal and completely barbaric actions aside, there’s something infinitely cool about pirates. They stuck it to the man and did what they wanted, took what they wanted, and knew no boundaries as the seas could take them anywhere they wanted to go. A life that despite all the danger, would eventually have you bathing in booty (in one form or another.) A pirate’s life is one that had a great deal of risk and reward. The ‘Golden Age of Piracy’ has come and gone, but it has left behind the islands and beaches that were once flooded with peg-legged eye patch wearin’ villains.
