I think we all know that each state has its own cultural characters (or horrors), so it’s no surprise that the most searched costumes across the country vary… Pretty wildly. The data here comes from the Halloween site Fright Geist, which used Google trends to show exactly what each state is looking for in its most common costumes (turns out, a lot of states LOVE Pennywise):
