Hockey Night in Canada has forever been a staple in the hockey world, the equivalent to NFL’s Sunday Night Football, and on this past Saturday, the Toronto Maple Leafs hosted the Washington Capitals for their Hockey Fights Cancer night. Alex Ovechkin led his team to victory, but what happened before the game even started would over-shadow the whole night.
