This is a photo Vancouver resident Mara Soriano and her beautiful mother who, sadly, lost her battle with cancer just one year ago. Having lost a parent to cancer myself, I understand that, despite the tragedy, there are little things that can help you cope with such loss.
One of these things for Mara came in the form of a custom teddy bear that had her mother’s voice embedded in it. That bear was stolen late last week.
