I have been listening to Weird Al since before I can even remember. Both of my parents grew up in Southern California with “The Dr. Demento Show” and my mom was even in a couple of his music videos back in the day. In 1999, during his “Running with Scissors” tour, I was able to meet him after his show and can definitely attest that he is one of the nicest, funniest people in the world.
While Weird Al has been on the scene for nearly half a century now, he still continues to amaze his fans and kids alike, even if it is not with his music.
Recently he shared a story of how he reconnected with his 9th grade crush through the wonders of social media. Let’s let him tell the story though:
