I know times are contentious out there. With an election looming, and both sides being as tribal as I’ve ever seen before, it can be easy to lose sight of our own humanity. But despite what you might think, there are still wonderful people (and animals) all around us.
Don’t get fixated on all the media noise and “anger fuel” that would have you believe that all hope for peaceful times with our fellow men and women is coming to an end. That’s not true. Wholehearted kindness will outlast and ultimately conquer this divide one day soon. I sincerely believe that. But for those who need reminding of the acts of kindness and decency all around us, let me put it on display here for you now.
Happy Monday. Be well. Don’t lose faith in mankind. We’ll get through these dark days.
