We truly didn’t know how good we had it. Kids nowadays will never understand…
Everything was open and shut. No hidden fees. No subscriptions. No contracts. No phones. Just bikes on the lawn, home by dinner time, corded phones, controllers, and a style most still rock today.
There were no tell tales of the internet eating everything up. Growing up in the last remaining years of “real life” before everything went digital was a gift no one knew they had.
