Before the Great Digital Flood…
Before we all got sucked into our screens, life had a certain texture. We took blurry photos on film, stayed out too late, and smoked on porches while talking about nothing and everything at the same time.
This gallery is a time capsule for the analog era – it’s deeper than just the swag of the old school, the lost boys of nostalgia, no. It’s the grungy, beautifully imperfect world that existed before the Great Digital Flood that occurred around the mid-2000’s.
Back before everything was an advertisement, connection meant being there in person – a time, place, and instructions was all you had. People stuck to the plan. And if they didn’t they would search out a way to let someone know. Or they wouldn’t show up and have a good reason as to why. Authenticity mattered.
