As the poets, Smash Mouth once said, “The years start coming and they don’t stop coming.” Ain’t that the truth. Case and point; the PS2 is turning 25 this year. What has since become the best-selling console of all time with over 160 million units sold worldwide, is celebrating the big two-five.
Sony released the PlayStation 2 in Japan on March, 4th 2000.
