People used to climb fifteen-foot metal towers with zero railings, launched each other off rusted merry-go-rounds spinning at highway speeds, and treated third-degree slide burns on hot July afternoons like badges of honor.
It truly was survival of the fittest, and looking back at the vintage equipment kids used to play on, it’s a minor miracle most of us made it out with all our teeth intact.
