During World War II, Yank, the Army Weekly boosted morale with some of the most iconic pin-ups ever printed.
Every issue featured a full-page glamour shot of a bombshell babe that would end up taped to barracks walls and tucked into duffel bags around the world.
From girls next door to screen sirens like Hedy Lamarr, Lucille Ball, Rita Hayworth, and Betty Grable, these beautiful women weren’t just pretty faces, they were a little slice of home, mailed straight to the trenches.
