As Super Bowl 55 is about to kickoff once more this weekend, I thought back to some of the all-time most eye-opening Halftime shows over the years that, for better or worse, are permanently carved into my brain.
Take for instance, Shakira’s Tongue Wag (2020) where she wowed us all with a close-up tongue gyration that had us howling in confusion. Sure, her and Jennifer Lopez on strip poles was a nice memory too, but that damn tongue and the absurd sound she made is all that ever sticks with me.
