A 2015 evolutionary study found that men preferred women with a 45.5° curve in the lower spine, which naturally makes the buttocks protrude more. This spinal curve was the theoretically optimal angle for our ancestral mothers to carry multiple pregnancies without injury.
It’s also the ideal curve/angle to achieve maximum distance when throwing a ball/projectile on a flat surface. This has nothing to do with this gallery I just thought it was neat.
