Hey moms and dads (and aunts and uncles, etc… ), listen up. You know how you used to tell me that my brain was gonna rot because I wanted to play video games? Remember that? Well, you’re fucking wrong, according to science. Take that. I always felt like my playing time was working towards somethings and now I know what it is; I’m smarter.
According to a study that was just published in the Nature Research Journal, there’s a direct correlation between playing action video games and increased grey matter volume in the brain.
