We can split atoms, land robots on Mars, and take pictures of black holes, but apparently the universe still has a few secrets it refuses to give up.
Scientists are still trying to figure out what dark matter actually is, why cats purr, how life first began, and why our brains make us watch a full length movie starring ourselves while we’re asleep.
These aren’t stupid questions or things people haven’t bothered to investigate. They’re legitimate scientific mysteries that have some very smart people scratching their heads.
Turns out, the more we learn about the world, the more we realize just how much we don’t know.
