There are many things that go on everyday in modern society that are perfectly normal but that also feel just a little bit… wrong.
Just a wee bit off. Like there’s something dangerous or descructive beneath the surface. Like it may affect us negatively in the long run.
It’s a natural part of society as it evolves that certain practices get eliminated. That’s the fate waiting the particularly negatively impactful things — once we figure out what they are and how bad.
Changing public sentiment and scientific research will lead to such activities falling out of favor and fading away, if not made completely illegal.
Over on the AskReddit subreddit, a user posed such a query. What things that don’t sit right with a lot of people today will be the banned practices of tomorrow? We think these are the most prophetic responses.
