Golden Retrievers take over Golden, CO and our hearts can’t handle it

Welp, it has been decided. I’m moving to Golden, Colorado. And no, it’s not for the crispy deliciousness of a Coors Banquet (although that’s an added bonus.) Colorado is home to the ‘Goldens in Golden’ festival.
Goldens in Golden was started in 2019 and has become one of the town’s most popular annual events.
The best part? It is exactly as it sounds. “Leashed, trained, and friendly” golden retrievers all gather on Washington Avenue for a celebration like no other.
