If there’s anything 2024 has taught me it’s that I should avoid flying for a bit. There have been a number of unfortunate incidents involving planes this year already. In Japan, a plane carrying 379 passengers was engulfed in flames after colliding with a coast guard aircraft on the runway. An Alaska Airlines flight lost a piece of the plane in mid-air over Portland, Oregon. This flight seems to be the gift that keeps on giving.
